Hi, I'm Andrew

As a child my family vacationed in Grass Lake in the Summer. I still have a scar from a bicycle accident that happened in Greenwood Acres while camping back in the 70’s. After having some business success, I was able to move out to this area and I have called Grass Lake home for 15 years. I love Grass Lake, the people, the parades, the community and the freedoms it provides.

My children have both had their entire educational experience in the amazing school district here in Grass Lake. I cannot say enough good things about how well we have been treated, and how the schools are another piece of the amazing town we live in.

I have political experience in Grass Lake serving as a delegate for the Republican Party. I am not a politician. I am a person that loves my community who wants to serve his neighbors.

I have been in retail businesses since I was a child. Growing up and eventually running my families chain of stores, then moving into other fields. I have had some success running businesses, but going along with my passion for cars -old and new- I find my self in a wonderful career with premium vehicles. One of the best parts of my career is the time-off I have to spend with my two kids and around Grass Lake.

I am! I see things a little different than the all-incumbent options on the ballot. I think there is room for improvement!

I think that government should bother us as much as absolutely needed, constant intrusions into our lives is counter-productive.

You can read all the national opinions, and some reporters version of what it means to be Libertarian. I can't tell you what everyone thinks or wants. I can't even tell you where the media gets these ideas.  I can tell you what I think and want. If I don't cover it here, feel free to message or email me.

Here are some of the highlights:

  • The township should stay out of the way when and where it is possible.

  • The township should have workable internet access available across the entire area

  • Taxes should be only levied when necessary. We should never be looking for some project to spend taxpayer's hard-earned income. At the same time, we need to maintain the level of services we have come to love in Grass Lake.

  • Our local environment is pretty good. We need to keep it that way, and be ready for the dangers ahead with the inevitable business and population growth.

  • I am sick of the two party bickering and blame-game

  • I want to be able to choose who I can do business with. That includes my internet service and access. Don't we deserve better web access?

I have found that over the years the GOP has strayed away from the principals I hold close. I am a fiscal conservative. Being a Libertarian means I want to make sure we are getting what we pay for from our government.

Small Government with a Large Heart

All people have the right to exercise sole dominion over their own lives, and have the right to live in whatever manner they choose, so long as they do not forcibly interfere with the equal right of others to live in whatever manner they choose.
